Terms of Use
Last updated 22 October 2026
These terms govern your use of IraShorts, operated by Ira Blogging Private Limited. By using the platform you agree to them.
1. The service
IraShorts streams short vertical drama episodes. The opening parts of every story are free to watch, with no account and no payment. The remaining parts need an active subscription plan. Current prices, inclusive of all taxes, are shown on the Pricing page and again at checkout before you pay. We may change which parts are free, and we may change prices for new purchases, but a plan you have already paid for runs to the end of its term on the terms that applied when you bought it.
1A. Subscriptions and payment
A plan runs for the period you buy, starting when your payment succeeds, and it does not renew automatically. Nothing further is charged unless you choose to buy another plan yourself. If you buy again while a plan is still running, the new period is added to the end of the one you have, so you never lose days you have paid for.
Your plan is attached to the mobile number you give at checkout, and signing in with that number is what opens the paid parts. Payments are collected by our payment gateway, Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Refunds and cancellations are covered on the Refund & Cancellation page.
2. Who may use it
You may use IraShorts if you are able to form a binding contract under Indian law. If you are a minor, use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Content classified above U carries an age recommendation which you agree to respect.
2A. Your account
Signing in uses your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your number and codes to yourself — activity through your account is treated as yours. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has access to it. You may delete your account at any time from the account page.
3. What you may do
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to stream our content for your own non-commercial viewing.
4. What you may not do
- Download, record, copy, re-upload, mirror or redistribute our videos, in whole or in part
- Screen our content publicly or commercially without our written permission
- Circumvent any access control, rate limit or technical protection
- Scrape the site, or use automated systems to access it at scale
- Use the platform for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm anyone
5. Ownership
All stories, scripts, videos, artwork, the IraShorts name and logo, and the software running this site belong to Ira Blogging Private Limited or are used by us under licence. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you.
6. Content produced with AI tools
Some or all of our video is produced using generative AI tools working from scripts written in-house. Titles produced this way are labelled on the platform. See the Content Policy for how we handle this.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Titles may be added, changed or withdrawn at any time, including for legal reasons or following a grievance.
8. Third-party links
Where we link to other sites, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
9. Disclaimer
Our stories are works of fiction. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or to actual events, is coincidental and unintended. The service is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ira Blogging Private Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, while the service is free, is nil.
11. Suspension
We may suspend or withdraw access where these terms are breached.
12. Grievances
Complaints about content are handled through the process on the Grievance Redressal page, in line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Nashik have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version.
